In Gin No. 6 Recipes

You can’t go wrong with this elegant classic. We vary the amount of vermouth depending on the day, some days we pour liberally into our mixing glass. Other times, we swirl the glass with vermouth for just an accent. A quick reminder about vermouth that we’ve spoken about before – keep it in the fridge and use it in a timely fashion, it doesn’t keep forever.

3 oz Distiller’s Gin No. 6
½ oz Dry Vermouth
Dash of Orange Bitters

Stir ingredients with ice, or shake if you prefer. Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with blue cheese stuffed olives, a twist, or something pickled from last fall’s harvest.

If you prefer, you could use Distiller’s Gin No. 11, Mighty Gin, or North Shore Vodka for this drink too, of course – but Sonja & Derek’s regular Friday night drink if they’re both home is this version.
