What is better than the first spring cuts of rhubarb?

Seriously.
This cocktail takes all of the happiness from those moments and puts it into a glass.
Try it.
Strawberry-Rhubarb Fizz
2 oz Distiller’s Gin No. 6
¾ oz Rhubarb Simple Syrup
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Egg White *
Strawberry
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Club Soda
Muddle strawberry with syrup. Add gin, lemon, egg white, bitters, and dry shake. Add ice and shake hard. Strain into an ice filled Collins glass and top with soda. Stir briefly and gently, garnish with a strawberry.
* the egg white is optional, but highly recommended. Egg white gives body and texture to a cocktail, and while it is still a great drink without the egg, it adds a lot. Stay tuned for a blog post all about eggs!
