In Malt Whiskey Recipes

As you probably know, we love a well-made, balanced cocktail here in our tasting room, but when we create our spirits we take care that they are both delicious to mix in cocktails and delicious all on their own. So this week our Drink of the Week is a little different – and quite easy to make! We’re highlighting our new American Malt Whiskey this week, that we were fortunate to be able to celebrate this past weekend at our 2020 Malt Whiskey Release.

This whiskey demonstrates the style and flavor profile we look for in a superior pot-stilled malt whiskey. It has a rich, inviting nose of malt, spice, heather and fruit. On the palate, it is rich, smooth and balanced, starting with spice notes, candied fruit and tobacco, finishing with delicate notes of honey, vanilla and orange blossom.

Whiskey, Neat

1½ oz Malt Whiskey (or your favorite whiskey will also work!)

Pour whiskey into a rocks glass or a whiskey glass, if you have one. If you enjoy your spirits chilled, drop in an icecube – otherwise enjoy!
