In Malt Whiskey Recipes

When coming up with drinks with the 2021 Malt Whiskey for last weekend’s release, we kept coming back to this delectable coffee drink – the iced version was excellent for the sunny, warm weather of last weekend, and the hot version is the perfect match for the rainy chill of this week. Either way it’s smooth and delicious, with a hint of decadence in the garnish (if you’re into whipped cream)!

American Irish Coffee

Hot:

2 oz NS Malt Whiskey
4 oz Coffee
½ oz Demerara Simple
¼ oz Cinnamon Simple

Add ingredients to a 12 oz coffee mug, then stir & garnish with whipped cream.

Iced:

2 oz NS Malt Whiskey
4 oz Iced Coffee or Cold Brew
½ oz Demerara Simple
¼ oz Cinnamon Simple

Add ingredients to coffee mug or tall glass over ice, then stir. Garnish with whipped cream.

Optional: you can add cream/milk to base of either drink if desired. We like it without, but we’re black coffee people!
