The gin fizz dates back to the original cocktails being served up in the 1800s – the classic combination of gin, citrus, sugars & fizz has withstood the test of time in the classic Gin Fizz, as well as cocktails like the Tom Collins or Spanish G&T. The Violet Fizz on our spring cocktail menu is a seasonal riff on that traditional recipe, incorporating the delicate floral notes of crème de violette with our Gin No. 6, lemon & club soda.
1½ oz Gin No. 6
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Crème de Violette
¼ oz Plain Simple
Add first four ingredients to Collins glass, then stir & fill with ice. Top with club soda, stir again and garnish with a lemon twist.
