In Gin No. 6 Recipes

Yesterday, we had the distinct pleasure of having a special visitor to our tasting room – Lisa from Tinkerville, Ontario. Lisa shares a piece of our heart because she loves our Distiller’s Gin No. 6 almost as much as we do! She was introduced to our gin some years ago, when we for a brief time sold it in Ontario, and she has sought it out ever since. This isn’t an easy task given the laws of Canada and the various US states about shipping liquor, so she has had to be creative – getting friends to order it online for her when she was coming to visit them in the US, going to stores in Minneapolis to hunt it down, and having people bring it back for her when they came to our area, for example.

This week, she was in Chicago for a girls trip with a couple of friends, and she brought them up for a visit! They got to see our tasting room, try a few of our other spirits, and enjoy some cocktails with us. It turns out, Lisa comes from a wonderful-sounding small town in Ontario called Tinkerville, so we decided to name one of our drinks made with the No. 6 on our new menu in her honor.

Thanks Lisa for being our biggest fan in Ontario and for coming to see us!

Tinkerville Fizz

1½ oz Gin No. 6
½ oz Lemongrass Simple Syrup
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Egg White
Club Soda

Shake first four ingredients without ice first, then add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, then top with a splash of soda. No garnish, unless you’re feeling fancy, in which case we suggest a lemon curl.
