This week’s cocktail is a riff on a classic Prohibition era favorite – the Bee’s Knees! The original cocktail is made with gin, fresh lemon and honey; on our current cocktail menu we’re making a whiskey-infused version, with our Single Malt Whiskey.
This whiskey, made from 100% malted barley and aged in used bourbon casks barrels, is smooth and delicious, with notes of spice & malt and accents of honey & fruit. This makes it the perfect spirit for the Maltese Falcon, where it plays with additional notes of honey and lemon to create a smooth, delicious sipper with notes of spice and fruit.
Shake ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon swath and enjoy!
