Last year when we were dreaming up cocktails for our first North “Pole” Distillery holiday pop-up, our co-owner Sonja found these incredible Santa tiki mugs — he’s ready to relax on the beach for a Caribbean Christmas! The cocktail that goes in such a vessel must be a knockout drink, rich, fruity, a hint of spice, and a lot of fun.
So this year we concocted a Kringle Juice, anchored by the nuanced, complex flavors of Gin No. 6. It’s filled with surprising flavors, combining classic winter flavors like cranberry & winter spices with tropical passionfruit and pineapple.
Kringle Juice
2 oz Gin No. 6
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Cranberry-Orange Simple
1/2 oz Chai Simple
1/4 oz Pomegranate Juice
1/8 oz Pineapple Juice
1/8 oz Passion Fruit Liqueur
Add ingredients to glass (use a goblet or flute if you can’t get your hands on a tropical Santa!). Add ice, then top with Club Soda. Garnish with Santa’s hat & straw, or a variety of fruits & spices in the glass — a cinnamon stick, cranberries, orange swaths, a lemon wheel, etc. Get fancy with it!

Kringle Juice (Pitcher Recipe)
If you want to make these in bulk in a pitcher, you can simply multiply the ingredients by the number of servings you’re aiming to make. Serve over fresh ice – it’s best not to put ice into the pitcher, as it will dilute the drink. As you probably know, part of a great cocktail is a bit of dilution, so that water helps bring everything together and balance it all out. That’s where the club soda comes in on this one! Below is a recipe for a pitcher of 8 drinks:
16 oz Gin No. 6
8 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
4 oz Cranberry-Orange Simple
4 oz Chai Simple
2 oz Pomegranate Juice
1 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Passion Fruit Liqueur
Add ingredients to a goblet, then add ice & top with Club Soda. Garnish with a variety of fruits & spices in the glass — a cinnamon stick, cranberries, orange swaths, a lemon wheel, etc. Get fancy with it!
