When dreaming up cocktail recipes to use with our new Bokamaro limited release, we found that it lends itself very well to several classic cocktail recipes. This cocktail is based on the strong, stirred drinks that were popular during the Golden Age of cocktails; think Negroni, Martinez, Manhattan. It combines Bokamaro’s vegetal & citrus notes with smooth fruit and hints of spice to make a smooth, layered cocktail that you can savor.
Humboldt Park
1½ oz Third Coast Rum
1 oz Bokamaro
¾ oz Sweet Vermouth (we’re using Carpano Antica)
1 dash Grapefruit Bitters
Stir ingredients with ice in mixing glass for at least 20 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass & garnish with a grapefruit swath.
