As the calendar turns to September, we’re starting to dream of the classic fall flavors; apples, honey, cinnamon, chai & more! This cocktail really fits the bill, combining fruit, spice, honey & botanicals into a deeply layered, truly delicious drink.
This time of year also coincides with New Year on the Hebrew calendar, and apple & honey are two traditional Rosh Hashana flavors; they’re eaten together to signify the hope for a sweet & fruitful new year. So this cocktail is also perfect for Rosh Hashana celebrations!

Shana Tova!
Fall Fitzgerald Punch
(makes 8 cocktails)
Muddle:
8 Apple Slices
4 oz Honey Simple
6 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Add:
16 oz Gin No. 6
8 dash Peychaud’s Bitters
6 dashes Cinnamon (not too heavy – or you can combine the cinnamon & honey in a simple syrup)
Refrigerate until ready to serve. Make sure to not add ice until the cocktail is being served — it will water down the cocktail. Pour into a rocks glass over ice or shake 3.75 oz per cocktail with ice, then serve up. Garnish with an apple slice.
