We recently hosted a fundraiser for our neighbors over at Lambs Farm, and one of the cocktails on the special menu we designed was a huge hit! The Sugar Maple is named after Lambs Farm’s country store, so of course we went for a maple theme. This cocktail is fall in a glass, combining bright citrus, rich spice, layered botanicals & fresh fruit notes, all bound together with a touch of sweet maple.
The Sugar Maple
Muddle:
3 Apple slices
½ oz Maple Syrup
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1 dash Angostura
1 light dash Cinnamon
Add:
2 oz Gin No. 6
Muddle first 5 ingredients together, then add Gin No. 6. Shake with ice, then double-strain into a chilled coupe glass, or into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with an apple slice, or a cinnamon stick — or both!
