February is shaping up to be tiki month at the distillery – we’re brightening up this dreary season with a big Tiki bash at the end of the month, and we’ll be serving some tiki drinks as part of our Lake County Restaurant Week special this year! Tiki drinks just seem like the perfect antidote to this time of year, and this drink is no different, with layers of flavor, including tropical notes from rum, pineapple and lime, with demerara and a touch of absinthe to add depth to the drink. It’s tropical, delicious, and almost as good as sitting on the beach!
French Caribbean
1½ oz Third Coast Rum
⅛ oz Sirène Absinthe Verte
1 oz Pineapple Juice
½ oz Demerara Syrup
½ oz Fresh Lime
Shake ingredients with ice & fill rocks glass with ice. Strain over fresh ice and garnish with a lime wedge, an umbrella and any other fun tiki garnishes you like!
