In Rum Recipes

This variation on a classic Moscow Mule uses one of our new rums, as well as some pineapple to give it a tropical feel. It’s a nice change of pace from the classic, and has been a fun addition to our latest cocktail menu. We’re actually going to start serving this in a taller glass, so we have room for a bit more ginger beer – our mule mugs are replicas of the original mug, but they’re on the smaller side.

We recommend a spicy ginger beer that is not too sweet – otherwise you may end up with an overly sweet drink.

Tropical Mule

1½ oz Third Coast Rum
1 oz Pineapple Juice
½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
Ginger Beer

Add first three to a mug (or glass). Fill with ice, then top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with a lime wedge or slice of pineapple (or both).

Cheers!
