In Gin No. 11 Recipes

This cocktail is a seasonal twist on one of our perennial favorites, and a classic dry cocktail. This drink originated in the 1920’s at the Pegu Club in British colonial Burma, as a fresh, balanced cocktail, and has experienced a resurgence in popularity these past few years. In this twist, we’re adding notes of classic chai spices to add a warm depth to the bright, fresh notes of orange, lime & juniper.

The (New) Pegu Club

2 oz Gin No. 11
½ oz Chai Simple (also available in our online store for curbside pickup)
¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice
½ oz Orange Liqueur (if you still have some, use our Beehive Curaçao!)
1 dash Angostura Bitters

Shake ingredients with ice, then strain into chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
