We wish the weather outside was cooperating with the calendar, but it looks like more snow tonight! So we’re just going to hunker down and enjoy some of the spring-inspired cocktails on our new menu, and try to will the weather to cooperate. This one is bright, fresh and a little herbaceous – lovely for a springtime evening (if we ever get one).
Tea in Toronto
1½ oz North Shore Vodka
1 oz Cranberry Juice
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Lemongrass Simple
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
*For lemongrass simple, we followed our basic 1½ cup sugar, 1 cup water recipe, and added in 1 tbsp of dried lemongrass. We simmered the syrup for about 5 minutes, then cooled it completely and strained out the lemongrass.
