It seems like summer is fast approaching, but here in the Chicago area we’re looking at a few more days of spring this weekend. That means we’re still loving the floral and tea notes that feel so appropriate for the season! This cocktail combines the floral notes of Scofflaw Old Tom Gin and green tea simple, with fresh lemon for balance and a bit of Peychaud’s bitters to give it that delicate blush. Of course, this drink is also available as one of our cocktail kits this week!
Spring Blush
2 oz Scofflaw Old Tom Gin
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Green Tea Simple
2 Dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker, then shake with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, then garnish with a lemon curl. Cheers!
