In American Whiskey Recipes

In preparation for this weekend’s Fall Fest here at the distillery, we’ve been playing with some fall flavors in cocktails, including maple syrup. Nick, our head bartender, was inspired by the traditional fall breakfast of blueberry pancakes to concoct this drink – fresh blueberries and maple syrup come together with our American Whiskey, which is currently only available in our tasting room. This whiskey is made from a corn/rye mash, and aged several years in full-sized, used bourbon barrels.

Short Stack

Muddle:
6-8 Blueberries
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
¾ oz Maple Syrup

Add:
2 oz American Whiskey

Muddle blueberries, lemon & maple together. Add whiskey and shake ingredients with ice. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass & garnish with a lemon swath. Cheers!
