You know how the song goes – Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day! Well we also think it’s the thing to drink on Christmas, whether you’ll be in the tropics or in the chilly north. It’s the perfect holiday sipper, combining seasonal fruits & spices into a tiki-inspired holiday cocktail.
Mele Kelikimaka
2 oz Third Coast Rum
1¼ oz Cranberry Juice
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz Winter Spice Simple (also works well with Cinnamon Simple)
Add ingredients to cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, then shake. Pour entire contents of strainer into a tiki mug or Collins glass. Garnish with a skewer of cranberries & a lime wedge – and a cinnamon stick and cocktail umbrella if you have them!
