If you like piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain … this cocktail is for you! It’s reminiscent of the classic Puerto Rican drink, full of tropical layers, rich coconut and deep spice notes from both our Bourbon Cask Rum and Doublewood Rum. The added amaro adds some depth and complexity, as well.
Both our rums are currently sold out in our distillery store while we await the next batch (coming soon), but you can still find them at liquor stores in Illinois and Wisconsin.
If You Like Piña Coladas
¾ oz Doublewood Rum
¾ oz Bourbon Cask Rum
½ oz Pineapple Amaro
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
¾ oz Demerara Simple
½ oz Coconut Milk
1 oz Pineapple Juice
5 drops Jo Snow Pineapple Hop Flavor Drops
Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker, then shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled tiki mug, then garnish with a lemon swath, a cocktail umbrella and anything else you have on hand!
