This cocktail is the fruity, spiced fall cocktail of our dreams! Third Coast Rum provides a base of deep, rich notes of spice, fruit & oak, highlighted by cherry, lime, and both chai & Angostura spices.
The recipe originated from one of our delightful Chocolate & Cocktails pairing events with our dear friends at Katherine Anne Confections — originally made to pair with their coconut chai truffle, it also does equally well on its own as a fruity, spiced sipper.
Chai One On
2 oz Third Coast Rum
1 oz Tart Cherry Juice
¾ oz Chai Simple
¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Shake ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wedge, or if desired, rim glass with chai sugar before preparing cocktail.
