Winter weather has made a chilly and blustery entrance in the past week here on the North Shore, which means we’re finally getting the picture perfect sparkle of sunlight on fresh, pristinely white snow. These beautiful winter days aren’t always as frequent as we like, so we decided to capture their essence in a cocktail!
This cocktail brings together delicate floral vanilla notes with smooth chocolate and bright lemon, tied together by the foamy, frothy texture of the egg white.
2 oz Tahitian Vanilla Vodka
¾ oz White Crème de Cacao
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
¾ oz Egg White
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker, then shake first without ice. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
This cocktail doesn’t require a garnish – the smooth, frothy layer of egg white on top is meant to mimic the view of snow.
