For Santa’s crew, the cocktails need to be festive, wintery, fabulous and sparkling. And this cocktail has it all! Brisk peppermint, smooth vodka, warm chocolate, frothy egg white, and sparkling club soda make Prancer’s Potion the perfect drink to celebrate winter nights, like the night of the Winter Solstice.
This cocktail has been wildly popular at our North “Pole” Distillery pop-up this year, so try out your own version for the holidays!
Prancer’s Potion
2 oz Tahitian Vanilla Vodka (or North Shore Vodka)
¾ oz Chocolat Royal (Marie Brizard)
½ oz Crème de Menthe-Pastille (Giffard)
1½ oz Egg White
1½ oz Half & Half
Club Soda
Shake first 5 ingredients without ice, then add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a flute, then top with club soda and garnish with crushed peppermint (and a fancy straw!).
