This week’s drink is a new one created by our head bartender, Frank. He had the idea of the recipe and the components, but we worked together to brainstorm the name. We settled on Johnny vs. Henry – Johnny Appleseed, for the apple portion of the drink, and Henry is the first name of the actor who plays the farmer in the well-known Ocean Spray cranberry commercials. A medley of two fall favorites, coming together in a glass.
Johnny vs. Henry 
1½ oz North Shore Vodka
1 oz Cranberry Juice Cocktail
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ Spiced Apple Syrup (see recipe with last week’s drink)
Shake ingredients with ice; strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of fresh apple. We usually use Fuji apples, but any apple will do – use your favorite!
