A few years ago we had a cocktail on our menu named Zuzu’s Petals — as befits the name, it was a fan favorite, with a beautiful pinky rose color, and delicious hints of floral and fruit.
This cocktail continues the theme, made with Scofflaw Old Tom Gin, with fruity and floral notes of cranberry, orange blossom and citrus. Its name also comes from the movie It’s A Wonderful Life, referencing the song that George and Mary sing to each other throughout the movie.
Dancing in the Moonlight
2 oz Scofflaw Old Tom Gin
¾ oz Orange Blossom Tea Simple
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Cranberry Juice
Shake ingredients with ice, then strain into chilled coupe glass. Garnish with an orange swath or a lemon twist.
