Fall is the season where we start to gravitate towards the rich, warmer flavors that carry us through as the nights get longer and the days get colder. Masala chai spices include many of these comforting spices: cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, peppercorn and star anise. All together these flavors bring a rich, spiced character to chai tea, and from there to other drinks. This fall it’s perfect in a refreshing mule!
Shake first three ingredients with ice, then strain into a copper mug filled with ice. Top with ginger beer, then garnish with a cinnamon stick.
