Special Single Barrel Release
Earlier this year, as we were working on our 2024 Malt Whiskey release, we realized we had a very special barrel on our hands. We used some of it in the blend for that whiskey release, but we kept the rest of the barrel with plans to revisit it this fall. When we tasted it again, we just knew it was something we needed to bottle as our first-ever single barrel whiskey.
Tasting & Production Notes
NOSE: fig, hazelnut and a touch of lilac
TASTE: baked apricot, toasted almond & cherry
For this whiskey, we started with 100% malted barley. We fermented the grain in-house, and then distilled through Ethel the Still. Then, we aged it in a full-sized used bourbon barrel for 8 years.
Just 54 bottles of this very special whiskey exist! Limit 2 bottles per customer while they last.
