We’re taking muddling focus right into melon season. This week’s cocktail is a great marriage of watermelon and basil, two summer treats that work great together. It’s perfect for those hot, sunny afternoons.
Watermelon Basil Fizz
1½ oz North Shore Vodka
½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Simple Syrup
3-4 Watermelon Cubes
3-4 Basil Leaves
Club Soda
Muddle watermelon, and syrup. Add vodka, lemon juice, basil, and shake with ice. Double strain into a coupe glass and top with club soda. Garnish with additional watermelon or a lemon twist.
