Here’s another awesome pairing we created for our Cocktails and Chocolates event with Katherine Anne Confections.
The truffle that Katherine made with our Aquavit, ginger and cayenne is spicy and delicious, so we wanted to create a cool, delicious cocktail to contrast the spicy, dark truffle. We settled on a delicious combination of our Tahitian Vanilla Vodka and Aquavit, along with orgeat, which is an almond syrup. Layered, nuanced, and cool – inspired, if we do say so ourselves!
Tropic of Paradise
1½ oz Tahitian Vanilla Vodka
½ oz Aquavit – Private Reserve
½ oz Orgeat (we use Small Hands Foods)
½ oz Fresh Orange Juice
½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
Dash Molasses Bitters (we use BD Bittering Co from Louisville, KY)
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange swath or a lime wedge.
