Technically, we’ve posted this one before, but it’s one of my perennial favorites so I’m posting it again! It’s been three years since the first post, so I figure I can revisit it now. Since I’ve been making this one lately, and tinkering with the proportions, I wanted to share this great drink with you again.
Here’s how I’ve been making them lately – a little more gin than the classic equal-parts recipe:
The Last Word
1¼ oz Distiller’s Gin No. 6
1 oz Green Chartreuse
1 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice (sometimes 1¼ on this too)
Shake well with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Put a homemade cherry in the bottom if you feel like it. I often do, so that’s what I did with the ones in the picture.
