This cocktail has been a runaway hit on our late-summer cocktail menu this year — it’s packed full of savory summer notes, melding delicious spice from Aquavit – Private Reserve with fresh garden flavors.
MUDDLE:
4 Cherry Tomatoes
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Basil Simple
ADD:
2 oz Aquavit – Private Reserve
1/2 oz Dry Vermouth (we’re using Noilly Prat)
2 dash Smoked Chili Bitters
Muddle first three ingredients, then add Aquavit, vermouth & bitters. Shake with ice, then fine-strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Garnish with a tomato on a cocktail pick.
