We’re celebrating the return of our rum in the Tasting Room with everyone’s favorite cocktail! Sweet and strong rum, fresh lime and a little almond makes it a clean, classic keeper. This is the original version of a Mai Tai – no pineapple or grenadine here!Mai Tai

Mai Tai (Trader Vic’s version)

2 oz North Shore Bourbon Cask Rum *
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz Orange Liqueur (Triple Sec or Curacao style)
¾ oz Orgeat Syrup

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wedge.
