In Limited Release Recipes

In the days leading up to our Malt Whiskey Fest on March 15th & 16th, we’re celebrating our American-style whiskey! We have a killer Old Fashioned on our current menu with this whiskey, but this week we’re featuring a more unique whiskey drink – the Lion’s Tale, a tiki-style cocktail from the late 1930s. The combination of allspice with our whiskey gives this cocktail deep, rich spice notes, with the lime to keep things interesting.

Lion’s Tail

2 oz NS American Whiskey (or a rye whiskey or bourbon)
½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
½ oz Demerara Simple
½ oz Allspice Dram
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Add ingredients to shaker, shake well with ice and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Cheers!
