In Frozen Cocktail Treats

We recently hosted our annual Snow Cone day with Melissa at Jo Snow.Melissa Jo Sno It’s always a popular event and we even had a few guests who made the “around the world” club by having every snow cone on the menu.

Spicy Strawberry Sno ConeLast year we posted some recipes here and here and tips for making boozy popsicles. This year, we’re reminding you how easy it is to transform your cocktails into frozen treats.

You’ll notice the snow cone recipes are a bit more heavy handed with the syrup than our usual drink recipes are – you need to put in more syrup than you think; frozen drinks seem more tart than cocktails. Play around with how much syrup to use based on your  palate, but plan to be a bit more liberal with your pour, unless you like it tart!

Quality ingredients make all the difference – fresh juices, our awesome spirits, and local handmade syrups make for a cool, delicious summer treat. Just add a little crushed ice, and you’re in business!
