We have a wonderful customer named Bob – he stops by occasionally with another gent named Bob, and sometimes some other friends. Bob has periodically asked for a rum & tonic, which is a drink I’d never tried before he mentioned it to me. At his urging, we gave it a try and it was pretty tasty! For our latest menu, we decided to take it up a notch, and add a little something to it – some additional spice notes and fresh citrus. Although Bob has moved a few states away, we still think of him often – especially when we’re making this cocktail!
Bob’s Your Uncle
1½ oz Bourbon Cask Rum
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz Cardamom Simple Syrup
Tonic Water (we use Fever Tree)
Add first three to glass, stir. Add ice, top with tonic, stir & garnish.
