In Holiday Cocktail Recipes

This week we are cataloguing a few of our favorite holiday drinks.

Cocktails are only as great as their ingredients, and we believe in starting with the best spirits (our spirits, of course!), fresh juices, and handmade syrups. Many local markets now carry fresh squeezed juice and syrups are super easy to make ahead. Today, we have chosen to highlight cocktails that are easy to put together for two or twenty, and they appeal to a wide audience.

A great starting point is our favorite holiday punches post from a couple of years ago. It covers the basics of cocktail entertaining from prepping to serving.  Once you have the gist of it, the world is your bar… but if you’re stumped, follow these links…

Fuji Sparkler – with either North Shore Vodka or Aquavit – Private Reserve, fresh lemon, spiced apple syrup and sparkling cider. It’s light but complex, apple-y and fresh!

Sweet Sol Sour – with Sol Chamomile Citrus Vodka, cranberry, brown sugar syrup, fresh lemon and cinnamon. Fruity but not too sweet, and super pretty for the season!

Eden’s Prayer – with Tahitian Vanilla Vodka, pomegranate juice, orange liqueur and fresh lime. This one is a bit boozier and a bit sweeter, which might be just right depending on how much you like your relatives!

Celebration G&T – with Distiller’s Gin No. 11, it’s a classic with a touch of fancy in the form of cranberries and citrus peel. It’ll impress your guests on a lot of levels!

Holiday Gimlet – with Distiller’s Gin No. 6, cranberry ginger syrup, and fresh lime. It’s a classic cocktail with a seasonal twist sure to please!

Norwegian Bear Hug – with Aquavit – Private Reserve, spiced honey, fresh lemon, and bitters. It’s unique but super approachable. Spicy and savory and sure to please!

Cheers to all and to all a good drink.

Stay tuned for next week’s post all about sparkling cocktails for your new year celebrations!
