In Recipe - Bourbon Cask Rum, Recipe - Doublewood Rum

Somehow we still seem to be in the middle of winter, with plenty of dark, cold nights that could use some warming up. That’s why our Drink of the Week, the Ancient Mariner, is kicking off a time of tiki celebration!

We’re hosting our Take Me to the Tropics Party this Saturday from 6 – 10 pm, where we’ll be cranking up the heat and surrounding you with tropical island vibes, with tiki cocktails, music, decorations & more. Throw on your most tropical clothes and join us for a night of fun and delicious drinks, like the Ancient Mariner, a cocktail with all the classic tiki notes of tropical fruit & spice from smooth rum, bright citrus and deep spice.

Ancient Mariner

1 oz Doublewood Rum
1 oz Bourbon Cask Rum
¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz Demerara Simple
½ oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
¼ oz Allspice Dram

Shake ingredients with ice, then strain into an ice-filled tiki glass. Garnish with a lime wedge, tiki umbrella, edible orchid, or any other great tiki garnishes you have on hand!
