In Gin No. 11 Recipes

Here’s another awesome Tonic for our Summer of Tonics series. Since it’s still hot out around here, we figured we’d keep the summer party going. The ingredient list may look long, but don’t let that deter you. It’s a super easy drink to make and a real show stopper… so pretty, and just as good as it looks!

This drink is modeled after a Spanish-style G&T, which is a popular summer drink across Spain – start with a gin & tonic, but put it in a goblet, add more tonic & ice, and add some fruits & herbs for good measure. You can do all kinds of variations on this drink, depending on what you have on hand and what you like – have fun with it!

Grapefruit G&T

1½ oz Distiller’s Gin No. 11
¼ oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
2 Grapefruit Swaths
6 Blueberries
3-4 Basil Leaves
Fever Tree Tonic

Squeeze swaths into a goblet and drop in; add berries, basil and gin. Fill glass with ice, then tonic, and stir gently. Garnish with an additional swath if desired.

Cheers!
