Commitment to Community

We feel that it is the responsibility of all companies, large and small, to be involved and support their communities when possible and to build partnerships with other local organizations.  In that spirit, we have partnered with a variety of non-profit organizations through donations of time and effort, money, the creation of signature cocktails for fundraising events, merchandise, and in many other ways.

Unfortunately, we receive far more requests for donations than we could possibly fulfill – sometimes as many as 20-30 requests per week. In an effort to maximize the resources and impact of our sponsorships and donations, we attempt to focus on one particular theme each year, and we primarily consider opportunities with not-for-profit organizations that fall within our theme for the year.

Our theme for 2017 is aid for the least fortunate members of our local community. So, we’ll mostly be supporting programs for needy children, legal aid organizations, animal shelters, homeless shelters, and such.

Requesting a Donation or Sponsorship

If you are involved with a not-for-profit organization whose mission fits into our current theme and would like to talk to us about getting involved with an event, please get in touch with us as described here. For us to consider your request, you must send us a written proposal telling us about your organization and your event, including:

  • A concise description of the event or reason for your request
  • A description of the type of donation you are requesting
  • How the donation will be used
  • The date of your event
  • Number of attendees expected
  • And any other details you would like us to know in evaluating your request

This information can be emailed to us at donations (at) northshoredistillery.com or sent by mail to us at:

North Shore Distillery, LLC

We do our best to review donation requests on/around the first business day of each calendar quarter (April 1, July 1, October 1, January 1), so please plan ahead and give us enough time to review your request. And, please bear with us, as we are a small company with a lot going on – we do our best to respond to people, but we are not always successful.

Thanks for following our guidelines – doing so will meaningfully improve your potential response, especially if your organization fits our theme for the year!
