COCKTAILS WITH SOL CHAMOMILE CITRUS VODKA

Sol Chamomile Citrus Vodka is delicious simply on the rocks or with a splash of club soda, but it also makes delicious cocktails.  Here are a few of our current favorites.  In addition, you can explore our archives for other favorite recipes.

SIMPLE & ELEGANT

Sol Gimlet

2 oz Sol Chamomile Citrus
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz Honey Syrup (2:1)

Shake ingredients with ice, strain into ice-filled glass or chilled coupe. Garnish with fresh lime wedge.

Citrus Sparkler

2 oz Sol Chamomile Citrus
Bitter Lemon Soda (we love Fever Tree)
Fresh orange peel

Muddle a large swath of fresh orange peel with Sol in a tall glass.   Top with ice, then top with soda.  Garnish with additional swath of orange peel.

CLASSIC COCKTAILS

Sol Cosmopolitan

History: The creation of this drink is widely credited to a bartender in Miami in the 1980′s. Our favorite version features Sol and is quite delicious.

1½ oz Sol Chamomile Citrus
¾ oz Triple Sec
1 oz Cranberry Juice
¼ oz Fresh Lime Juice

Shake ingredients with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of fresh orange peel or a lime wedge.

Sol 76

History: this is a riff on the French 75, a classic gin drink named for a weapon that travels lightly but packs a big punch.

1½ oz Sol Chamomile Citrus
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Simple Syrup
2 oz Dry Sparkling Wine

Shake first three ingredients with ice; strain into chilled champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine, and garnish with a lemon curl.
